intake question

So i got a REALLY REALLY good deal on a SPT short ram intake.I already did the snorkle delete, and i'm not sure if the intake's worth putting it on. Right now i'm at stage 2 and i've read that I dont need a tune and i dont want to tune right now... any thoughts?

i have the SPT intake on my car, if you have it throw it on, it won't hurt just, you won't really notice any gains either, it will just give you that intake sound and make it seem like your turbo is louder

if its just the short ram and no heatshield, you will be sucking in warm eng bay air. FYI.
