Oh, I forgot to chime in on the power bit as well. I agree with wrxisthebest on the fact that I HIGHLY doubt the car is making 400whp, or even close. Maybe 400hp at the crank? I would also be even more worried about having the car checked by AMS sooner rather than later considering even a 20G needs to run on a properly tuned map, and if the car's throwing CEL's then something is up. Let us know where you decide to take her for a check-up, and how it turns out!

 

Well I don't doubt it's close to 400whp, been in a slightly modded sti, and mine feels a lot faster. However, I am not one to make claims that I can't back up. The numbers are just what I was told. Finally got the previous owners name and number today. Going to try to meet up w/him this weekend for papers, and any spare parts he might have, as well as a little more insight into what's been done. After that meeting, I'm calling AMS to set up a dyno tune. I'll have some solid number then, and will share with all. Thank you very much everyone for all your help and direction.
