Evo 8 is the least refined, weakest of the evolution line up available in US.
However, the 07 STi is the fastest of the GD production model. Get the STI.

If you were considering an EVO9, it might be a different story.

get the evo if u want to drive a go kart, or get the sti if u want to drive a monster!!!
i drove a evo 9 rs and it was fast, but it felt cheap to me, and then i drove the 07 sti and well 1year and a half later, well lets just say i stuck with the sti and decided to just smoke the evo's, every chance i get!!!

What are your plans? Will this be a daily driver? Do you like aftermarket parts more than a engine management? What kinda of money are you making? Whats your driving record like?

Insurance "04 STi's aren't considered a family sedan but the 05's and up are"!

Search "07 STi blown" If your only choice is a 07 STi then you should get a evo since 07's hate aftermarket parts and require a tune with no aftermarket parts otherwise say goodbye to the engine.
