Unhappy My 6 month 04

I got rear-ended today I'm not sure but i think theres over $7k in damage. The mini van infront of me got cut off by a superduty silverado, so the lady drivin the mini slams her brakes, i slam mine till the car comes to a complete stop, then i think to myslef "that could have caused an accident" then what do you know some kid in his "bosses" 2001 gmc pick up slams into me going about 30+ mph. And what pisses me off the most is that my rear end folded like an accordian whil the gmc suffered a few sctratches and lil damage to the grill The only good thing that could come out of this is if its totalled and i get an sti (hopefully)

Wish me luck

Rough estimate from the body shop is $8000. But thats probably gonna go up as they start pulling parts off and begin the repairs.

It's been over a month now and with a lil over $10,000 in damage, I'll finally get my subie back this week. Hopefully everything will be ok. I'm gonna take it for a test drive (push it a lil) and then have it fully inspected at Subaru. I stopped by the body shop yesterday and the car looked great! I was very happy with how the car looked. I'll kep you guys updated when i get my car back, and I'll post before and after pics.

Its ment to fold up. Its a space saver trunk.

No its ment to ob-sorb the impact. Just so you dont take the impact yourself.
