If you or anyone leaves, just leave, don't start a thread about it.
If you have something to say start a thread that says "you guys suck" or " I had my feelings hurt" or "Help me deal with others" or "OT- Some PPL"
Cabal, I laugh EVERYTIME I see that picture of the Pope! LMAO

I was like that too in the 7-8th grade... and I've played with cars for the past ohhh.... i dunno, 20 years? That would make it, I've been playing with cars much longer than you've been alive. I've even been DRIVING longer than you've been alive. YIKES! Now I feel REALLY old!

Respect? Talk to me more about that. People who've been around the community MUCH longer (before the forum split... if which was ALSO before you came here... NASIOC's the real, original I-Club btw) get much less respect from someone that comes to a message board, and starts dishing out euphamisims about 'being respected'.
The irony is amazing. It's cool that you're learning. Reeally. But when people hear or say that they're leaving becoase of people here? Ha. That's hilarious. You need a MUCH thicker skin in life, not just on the web, if just a bunch of hoo-has like myself make you want to leave.... Maturity. Try it.

"Now I feel REALLY old!"
Yeah. I feel like you're really old too. j/k
"(before the forum split... if which was ALSO before you came here... NASIOC's the real, original I-Club btw)"
Yeah I know, but NASOIC sucks. I-club rocks. I've found that some NASOIC people are unfriendly aholes and thats less common here in my experience(sp?). Basically, what I'm trying to say is the atmoshphere here is better. Anyway...
"You need a MUCH thicker skin in life"
Yes you do, but hes been here for a while something like 1000 posts so he could just be sick of the immaturity. Imagine being a 15 year old kid having to deal with like 328497241 8 year olds. It gets old quick.

Are you suggesting that people like myself dont respect peope like him much, but dish out euphemisms about 'being respected' or am I misreading that sentence?

awns, thanks for your support, it seems that even though you are about half the age of most people on this forum, you are more mature.

Maybe it's time for you to step away from the computer and you are doing the right thing.
Conversations here, topics here, things you read here, most times, have no bearings on real life. You actually might be doing the right thing, going down the right path, that you've realized that by stepping away.
You see, here's the catch... I'm not, nor have I ever been PC. I abhore it. You met me once for a very short time. Thanks for the complement. However if most of the conversations and topics that I read here come up in natural conversation face to face, I would still be the same me. I'm not really any different in person.
Also, if you think I pick on 'you'? HA! I pick on everyone, what makes you think you're so special I'd single you out.
Oh...... and "I thought you were leaving" is a take on the ending of Ferris Buellers Day off during the credits... "What, you're still here?".
Nothing quite honestly. You're taking too much of this stuff to heart. If you're relatively new to the internet, you need to read stuff here MUCH differently. (Hence the 'thick skin' comment). Once you start taking stuff personally, you're doomed to have insecurities. If you can shrug them off and realize that you're really not that bad of a person, then some growing can be done. (Not growing 'up' but growing stronger)
Hope to see you the 24th Sunday at the next NHIS Auto-x.

You know, taking it to the matresses, from the Godfather. It's not personal, it's business

Thick skinned....
I have found that i-club has made my internet skin quite thick. On the other hand, many friends that I have turned on to Subaru, have not enjoyed their i-club experience, and too have walked away.
Everyone is so quick to jump on people for asking repeated questions, and posting pictures people have seen before.
Some people spend too much time and energy on the net...
I have come to believe that subaru owners are the best among the import crowd. They take pride in their vehicles like no other. We care most about how our cars perform, not how they look.
Like the new adds: "powered by what's inside"
Just my $.02

If you get asked enough times, people just give up replying, or tell people to go look for the answer themselves because it already exists. If you were asked over 10 times what something meant, would you answer all 10 times, 20 times, or after a certain point, refer them to a library to find the answer for themselves.? (Search). I've been around since 99. I've owned Subarus since '88. There's only so many times I can tell someone what that little thing on the steering column does.

Head to the other board... really. But you just cannot let people, like me, get to you. Your friends... they got turned off because they didn't realize there really is a code of conduct on the Internet and in message boards....If it's new to you, it's NOT new to most anyone. Take a minute out of your life and see if it's been posted. If it has, bump the thread and post in that existing one. If it hasn't, then good for you. But you cannot think for one second that someone out there already hasn't seen it. It takes quite a bit these days to find original pictures, content, jokes.

Sorry to hear that. You see, most of the people that are new here didn't/don't realize this place is only less than a year old and was brought out from an argument between this board and the other board between two people. This board was created out of hate, and spite. The other board, with the wealth of information has been in existence since 1999. It's only natural for people to 'pick sides' in the situation. Over 75% of the people stayed with the other board because THATS where the real wealth and friendships reside. Only the west coasters went with this board because Nick is from the east and Alex the west. Kinda makes sense in a way. You wanna meet more local friends... head to NASIOC. I'm not kidding. THe only reason this place propers is because of the domain name that used to be attached to the other board... and those that are friends with Alex.
