Don't know how you guys feel about waiting but I could maybe make it later in the day like around 12:30 or 1. Know it's kinda late so I understand if it won't work this weekend for everyone to make it.

Sounds good. We can add Stagecoach, time permitting of course.

I double checked my pics from yesterday and they didn't suck as bad as I had originally thought. So, like, here they are, and stuff.

First pic. Off to the left you can see the trail, this is about half mile in to the 3 mile climb action:

Mike didn't want to stop and hang out, so he kept on going:

Just past the half way mark. We always break here and chill for a bit:

Up, up and away:

On the way back down, you get these bad *** views:

Hey! Sweet jump!

Hmmm..

Oh god no!

Rode it today! And I'm happy to say I only stopped twice. Once at the start of the paved road and then right before the upper gate. That includes all the way up to the top before you decend to hit tunnel. Yes I was ridding the granny-gear but I made it without too much trouble. Now lets see how I do on FHDL

Where is this ride you show in the splendid pictures?

I'm looking to get back on the bike after a loooooooong break and would like to hook-up for some medium trails to get me back on the bike and rid of the spare tire.

Hey, man, if you want to ride come out with us. I'm hoping to maybe go early Thursday morning but Mike wasn't sure if he could make it. If not Thursday. definitely the weekend following the next (first weekend in Dec). The trail in the above pictures is the clementine loop, which consists of Clementine trail, culvert and confluence.

basically, exit Elm up in Auburn and go left at the end of the ramp, down to lincoln, left there and straight down to 49. You'll go to the bottom of the canyon, pass the bridge to cool and park ahead at the bridge at the fork of the river. On the other side of the bridge, right on the left you'll see a gate, that's clementine trail. Ride it 3.3 miles (approx) until you see a grouping of rocks and dirt on the right (probably other bikers too) and you can either ride straight or up and to the right. I prefer going straight as you'll get this awesome half mile section where you can just BOMB down - I maxed at 26mph in that section. Regardless of the direction you travel, you'll end up at the start of confluence trail, which is singletrack, narrow and rocky in many parts, but gives you those incredible views, and drops you right back at your car.

lance: Our next ride is FHDL for sure. Thursday or the weekend following
