We most of the time we ride in the Auburn/Folsom area. Once in a while we take trip to something like Hole In The Ground or S. Yuba. We try to ride every weekend and somethimes during the week.

I talked to my friend Allie and she's going to go to Auburn with her brother tomorrow. You guys want to meet up at Connector at 11? She says her brother is in really good shape but doesn't ride much so we may end up going on without them.

Cool I'll see you there. My stomach did pretty good today - only a little discomfort. I went for a ride today - first one in 9 days. I could feel the time off the bike

Great ride today! It was nice riding with Allie and her brother. Her brother is amazing. He had never ridden an MTB before, but was never far behind us. This wearing sneakers and a bike that had a broken pedal. That was the first time I've met Allie. She is a happy, cheerful person that was fun to have on the ride. She was right behind me on the fast fire road downhill. I went thru the big mud hole and I heard her laugh. It seems that I had just splattered her big time with mud, but instead of being annoyed, she laughed.

Trail conditions were almost perfect. Great traction in most places.

Thanks for bringing them on the ride Matt.

Yeah I was happy Allie was able to come finally! Her and I have been trying to get in a mountain bike ride for months. She's a bunch of fun to ride with, and her brother was cool too.

Had a great time today

I know this is very last minute, but I'm probably going to ride tomorrow. Ch. 3 said you guys will have fog again tomorrow. It was very clear up here today all day and tomorrow is only suppose to have a few thin clouds. So If you guys would like to escape the fog and go for a ride, how about Connector trail head at 11:00 tomorrow? Assuming you don't drink to much tonight.

Lazy bum. Nice and sunny again today. A bit cooler than our ride a couple of days ago. Lots of riders on Connector. Just a sprinkling after that.

Yes, it is suppose to rain tomorrow. What day this weekend? Saturday and Sunday look about the same for weather, so what ever works out schedule wise for you guys. I'm ok for either day.

Both sound good to me.

My cold is finally gone, but has been replaced for the last two days with a very stiff neck. I'm having a hell of a time just backing out the driveway. Hopefully it will be back to normal by Saturday morning.

I can do both days also. I need to totally kill my legs.

I totaled up my 2008 miles. I got just over 2,000 MTB miles.

Nice, Randy! I only had 650 dirt miles but I did just under 2000 on the road.

2000 road on top of 650 dirt is very good.

Ooh, I might do Sunday depending on what time. Care to have a slow guy tag along? Maybe you guys can finally show me where the granite section is.
