Good looking frame. I don't know about IBEX though. They shill their bikes pretty hard on mtbr and it pisses me off sometimes.

Yeah I hear you on the shill thing, but $499 for a frame? And they seem to get high marks on customer service issues.

Meh, 30 days, I don't like it, I send it back.

You rybizzie.. $800 fo dis.

It has a custom paint job that I did....flat-black with gloss black lettering...it's proven to be very durable and looks great IMO...

It won't be specced exactly like the picture b/c I'm taking some stuff to my new bike...

It will however be getting some of the brand new parts from the bike I'm buying...(i'll indicate those in the list with "***")

The parts list like will look like this

Frame: Motobecane Fantom Elite DS (XL: 21.5")
Fork: Rockshox Dart 3 w/ poploc remote
Rear Shock: Rockshox Bar
Rear Derailleur: SRAM X-7
Front Derailleur: Deore ***
Shifters - SRAM x-5 ***
Crank/ BB Truvativ Isoflow ***
Brakes: Avid BB5
Headset: Cane Creek S-2
Wheelset: Sun Rims Blackeye w/ 11-34 9sp cassette ***

Saddle won't be the Flite, but whatever saddle is on the cannondale, also I can throw in some Crank Brother MXR Eggbeaters to the mix too

I'd like to get about $800 for it...but I'm definitely open to offers... It's a great bike...tough as hell and rides like a champ...I just want a lightweight hardtail...

hahahah, yeah, I looked at used bikes, but I have too many parts already... I looked at used frames, but I want there to be someone to turn to if there are warranty issues. Motobecanes are awesome though. My cousin bought a pair for his daughters for like $500 each and they are awesome.

Plus I'm not a friggin' giant like you.

21.5" frame?!?!??!?!

If I can't fit it, there is no way in hell Aaron can ride that thing.

I'm 6'3 and my frame works out to about 21". Aaron is as tall as me if not a little taller.

I probably sounded more negative than I should have. I'm sure there are plenty of triathletes that can ride just fine.

I rode Olmstead today. I thought since FHLT was in such good shape Sunday that 3 days later Olmstead wouldn't be to muddy. WRONG! There was water and mud all over the place. My feet were soaking wet and freezing by the time I got back. I still had fun though.

That depends on if you want to test your mud tires or not. The only mud hole I couldn't make it through was just before the paved road we cross. I had neither the speed or horsepower to make it. The mud I got on my shoes there got washed off in the ice water stream crossing.
