According to Google maps, you can get to berryessa peak from the 128 to Knoxville rd. to East Side Road then Lookout Rd. takes you to the top and you exit on highway 16 which takes you to the 505. Found East Side Road but it wasn't a through road... this road was particularly fun and well maintained... 15mph of course. Here are some pics.
I guess I was miss informed about that east side road. I was told that it was some private road so I never went on it. now Im going to have to go check it out.

East Side road essentially takes you around the East side of the lake =) until the dead end/ keep out sign so you are at the bank of the lake.

I wish it kept going up into the mountains. It would have some nice lookout points of the lake if it continued as a public road.
