Just gotta get to the backroads where the cops don't go unless they're called. The more time we spend in city streets, the more likely we are to find them. And even though we were doing nothing... we are not exactly inconspicuous. Yeah Boulder Creek isn't much of a city, but town streets just sounds wrong.

So the cops hastled ya?

Was that at the station in BC?

Did they just move you on, or what?

Spill 'em,

I wouldn't say hassled.. just after you left, a Sherriff cruiser came down the hill, along wwith a Silver STi. The STi pulled in with us. The Sherriff did the same.... blah blah blah, Dom talked to them for a minute, they just wanted to make sure we werre not looking for trouble. Not sure exactly what was said, but they got back in the cruiser laughing and saying have a good night and Dom even invited them to donuts, but they declined... maybe they were more the bagel and latte type?

We figured it was a sign, so we just called it a night from there and went for donuts.

They were very patient with us, first they pull in to the gas station lot where you left, just as we all drove out.
Then we pull in to the country club, they kept driving. We waited a while(15 minutes?) and the cops again, pull up right as we are all leaving.
We finally all get back to the gas station, the officers pull up. Dom walks up to them and starts chatting. They ask whats going on, if we are up here to race, how long we've been doing the meets, are any of these 'race cars' are modified.

Dom sais no, we just like driving, been doin this for a couple weeks, only mods are rims and tires. I tossed in, "these aren't race cars, they are sports cars with AWD".
So they said "be careful, there are more of us out there watching".

No lights or anything, they were very, very nice.
Then seconds after they leave, some AMC revs and burns out at the stop sign heading north on 9.

BTW, I got my silencer deleat elbo today and was wondering who would like to come by sometime to help with the install? BBQ would be served to who came by.

Also, I found out today that i am probally not going to last the winter w/out needing new tires. I was wondering what you thought of the following that was recommended to me for a good all around tire with good performance: Bridgestone Potenza G006 255/60R16-98H?

Thanks,

Ben
