awww....i woulda if i knew earlier, i just got home...

 

So me and Joe got no further, we cannot figure out why they wont compress enough to get in, its almost like the springs are too long, and we cant use those spring compressors to comress them enough whilst the shock is in the wheel well!!! Oh and one of the centre nuts, the one that fixes the tophat to the shock, has disappeared ? We cannot find it anywhere! Did any of you guys leave it anywhere ? Im so pissed off right now!!

 

hmm check the new front strut.i put the nut on it since it was lying on the table so it wont get lost.

lol he gets me sooo MAD. Yeah i found the one on the strut, still missing one and the old nuts dont fit. I have no idea how were supposed to get that suspension in, no matter what me and joe did, there was still like a 2 inch size difference.

seriously though. I have a bunch of brand new ones for the top of the strut and for the 3 on the top hat. I can give you a few of those too if you need em.

Oh and after talking to the JDM distributor he thinks the spec C top hats are the same as the STi top hats.

If you still want em' we'll call it $60 for the 2? That fair? They're v7 so they should have no problems working with your car as it's v7.

 

Those nuts would be awesome!! Still having trouble getting the front ****ers on though. Getting seriously pissed, im thinking i might just put my old stuff back on and roll down to big o let them fix it.

 

I'll bring the top hats and the nuts tomorrow. I have to go to SC to visit my grandpa. I may have to have you meet me out there. But if I can I'll roll to your place. Look and see if I can solve your issue.

i guess there are two, but i never count the ones that are inside Safeway's hahhha...the one we meet at is just down the road from there and the pizza place is almost right across the street from safeway...i'll keep an eye out for you, i'm in a silver '08 LGT in the aptos area.
