haha i commute on 1 every morning up to hmb so im kinda over driving it (who would think anyone could get sick of driving on the PCH)

but id be down to cruise it with fellow subarus and not worry about having to get to work on time hahah

 

So let's gauge interest...

Who would be down for a night meet at mission st safeway? Weekdays or weekends? Wingstop, panda express and a pub all in the parking lot, burger king across the street

Or a chill davenport weekend get together for pics and lunch or something?

i saw the church in davenport this morning from the highway, is that the only place? was kinda hoping for something on the ocean side but i dont think roads go down that way

im down and my gf is down to bring her car out too on saturday as they are usually really chill for me as i work m-f, so i just lounge and smoke all day haha

tentatively, lets say saturday at 12pm meet up for pics and whale city for food in davenport (10 miles north of santa cruz on highway 1)

who can make that?

Davenport is a grand total of about a mile square... there's a small lot-ish-thing across from whale city facing the ocean, but its in the dirt, and has a couple of VERY deadly potholes... not sure anyone lowered would be too happy, but I'll check it out on my way home and see if there is a safe entry/exit

 

Haha I tried to scan it today to see how bad it was, few spots it drops off really bad from the road to the turnout

 

I might be down to check one of these out, meet some new heads... do some recruiting for Mt.Madonna LOL

 

I'd definitely be up for either Mission St. Safeway or Davenport. Are you talking about this Saturday or Saturday the 18th?? We should definitely try to get something going.

I wonder if we'd be able to meet up at one of the small parking lots on W. Cliff or Natural Bridges until it gets dark.

Speakin of, the gravel lot across from whale city has a huge dip in the center - no bueno...the bigger lot right by the traintracks is way more lowered car friendly

i can't make this one, out of town the rest of the month. i'm still up for a meet and mtn bike ride at wilder or uc trails, but not until march.

 

Mountain biking sounds awesome, I used to ride in the presidio in sf because I was raised a few blocks away...don't have a proper bike for that now though...
