well we've gotten a few more people interested in having a meet in santa cruz...
gotta start talking locations/days/times
i will defaultly say either a weeknight or weekend day meet
any ideas? only larger sized parking lots would be safeway on mission (panda express, wingstop) they redid the parking lot last year and on weeknights there are always open spots by CHASE bank because no one goes there at night
or the office depot/petco lot on river street right off of highway1 (theres a chinese place and chipotle)
we could do 41st ave at the mall or home depot/best buy (dont know how security would be)
for daytime we could meet by natural bridges on delaware because at the end by the UCSC marine lab no one ever parks

be cool if we could find a place that would be cool with us and we could support local business.
Like SmoQ or Aptos Pizza or one of the local non Startbucks coffee shops. Fins is just off the highway. Small lot and it's expensive. But ice cream is just across the street.

Safeway on mission!
(way closer to my house/work than aptos/capitola...)
There isn't a ton of activity in that parking lot, especially past mid-afternoon.

bah. i forgot about that one. I hate being on that side of town.
I always end up getting stared at by hipsters and lectured by self important UCSC students that know everything about everything. But I know Brian is over there too.
For me it's probably faster to drive to San Jose. LOL!
Is there anything besides Safeway over there? Sorry for not remembering. These days I have little interest in standing around in a parking lot staring at peoples cars. I prefer meets that are drives and/or chill spot destined. Grab a cup of coffee, a beer, sit down... shoot the ****. I'd be more apt to just hold out and make it to an occasional mt. madonna run.
But another local occasional sit down would be cool.

Well, if you guys are interested, I live up 1 in Davenport... There's a church with a huge parking lot that would offer a good backdrop for pictures etc.
Whale City Cafe/Mexican restaurant a block ish away...
