The driver of that STI is TERRIBLE. They were on screen for about 4 seconds and I saw several MASSIVE driving mistakes. WTF.

And maybe apply braking smooth and gradual instead of mashing?

You'd be amazed at how man HIGH dollar wheels have side notes on limitation like that. HRE being another one. They make these wheels for super high dollar high performance vehicles. They market to them. They don't outright advertise that track use is not covered, etc. But so many do.

Yet Rota's get a bad wrap for being "knock off" wheels. Kills me. I've seen rota's take so much more abuse than these high dollar POS wheels.

COR/HRE... not on my list of wants. LOL.

Honestly I'd hardly put HRE's in the same vein as the COR wheel from that post. I have personally ran HRE's and kicked the crap out of them with no ill effect and I have also witnessed a complete nut of a friend of mine do 10x worse than we have ever done to any of our wheels.

As an example to HRE's build quality just check out some of the crap Rado has done to his cars all of which run on HRE's. Hell I watched him launch the AWD car at 100+mph hard and high enough at BW it literally bent rollcage bars on landing yet the wheels were fine.

From the pictures of the failure on link above those COR's wheels look substandard to me for a 1200lb car let along a heavy *** Mustang. I do question the people that buy those types of wheels and track a little as what kind of decent tire can you get for your 20,21,22 spinners whatever the latest fad thing is!
