No... I gotta smog my car today. I'm way overdue and driving on expired tags. DMV is pissed. I got a CEL and I kicked up a cat code the other day.

I'm hoping to run it up and down the high way for a few. Clear the CEL for the tumbler delete and push some e85 in it and get it smogged hot.

The CEL I've got is related to the sensor so I should be able to fix that. But I want the e85 to help with carbons for the sniffer.

I don't know why we have no stations anywhere near monterey/salinas. It's odd.

 

Troy the guy that bought the honda stuff has a ae86 already, my other friend got convinced in buying one now lol. We might come back too late though, around 8 or 9 maybe? Tomorrow i dont work but i got school, if you're in marina/Monterey i can give it to you. Yea i hate how we have no e85 stations, but my english class made us to a letter to the editor, and i did it about e85. Hopefully it gets published lol

exactly how much e85 is safe to throw in and still be effective for the sniffer?

 

2 gallons is enough.

 

Don't run 2 gallons of e85 with anything less then 3/4 to a full tank. It leans out the AFR so be careful you always want way more 91 then e85 if you aren't tuned for it. Normal driving I'm sure your fine but if you are going to redline ect put like 1.8 gallons that's what I do when I mix just to be safe

I can't remember what it was. I think it's like 1088/1091 or something like that.

I can't remember what the cat efficiency code was. I cleared it and it hasn't come back. I also got misfires in 3 banks at the same time so I think something weird happened. Hasn't happened since I cleared it.
