I used to make a similar drive all the time.

Lived in Riverside for a while and San Dimas for a while.

Something like... 101 to 46 to 5 to 10 to 15 to 210 to 60. Some crap like that.

One time I took a wrong turn during a construction detour at 3am and got lost in Watts. Nothing was open and I had to take a crap. I finally found a gas station and the dude wouldn't let me in. I told him I was going to **** on his steps if he didn't let me in... He didn't open the door until I started pulling my pants down.

Do I need a spring compressor to remove the rear top hats?
I was gonna ask about that. Yeah a lot of times it's even a good idea to get those spacers on stock stuff. LOL!

You could always take them off and give them to me...

oh... and to remove the rear top hats... Probably be alright without one but getting them back on may be the issue. Talk to Jeff about the spring compressor issue. He'll know.

Any of you guys want to put together a wrench day?

Pick a house. I can bring my portable tool set and maybe even drag a compressor out if need be. I'd say do it at my house but I've only got space for 1 maybe 2 cars to be worked on.

Haha you would still have to upgrade to 5x114.3 STi hubs

I'll probably just rent one for the hell of it, it's basically free

Bah!

I've actually be keeping my eye on these full JDM swaps that have been coming over. You get the entire drive train. Easier that trying to track down a decent wreck and not much different in price.

For like $7k i could get everything and basically have a new wagon. LOL.

My house would be good for install day, I can fit four cars in my driveway easily and I have a decent amount of tools, and a BBQ

Woot....

yeah I have a compressor that I can probably stuff in the car. I have a decent mobile set of tools. I have like 8 jack stands. And I can buy booze! LOL!

We should either do it very soon or try to plan one for spring.

I think once your tranny goes out, you should upgrade to a new WRX hatch

gross... I hate the saabaru stuff. Should just get the JDM front and rear bumpers. Just go straight up JDM. But hey that's just my style....

my car had JDM wheels, derailed, jdm fogs, jdm rain guards, pink i badge, etc. Straight jdm.

I'm slowly drifting from a stock jdm looking wagon to a modified one. LOL! I want my wagon to look like what someone in japan would do. Haaaa.

Only thing visual I want to do with my car right now is a front lip. Later I'd like to add splitters and a vinyl roof and a different color wheel set up.

but for me it's all maintenance right now.
