well the stock motor needed headgasket cuz my stock radiator blew, and the new koyo radiator was installed wrong and the fans chopped a hole into the main hose and i lost a lot of coolant and overheated on the freeway

decided to upgrade to forged pistons etc, and that one got rod knock around 15k from a supposed torn turbo inlet, which messed up the a/f ratio cuz it was after the maf (i was told)...

current one has like 4-5k on it, after ~500 miles my turbo died, didnt know the cause so i put a used one on, it died after a few miles of driving...

turned out the turbo oil line was clogged with something, tech said it looked like assembly lube... so both turbos died from oil starvation and shot the bearings which probably got into the engine oil

my oil was goldish metallic at 1000k break in oil change...just did another one and it wasnt as bad as the last but it still had some weird color to it...motor sounded nice for the first few hundred miles but now its starting to tick louder than before and its progressed to knocking it seems

(and all this time my BC coilovers have had no problems )

the saga continues

Yeah dude I got Bilstein PSS9 coilovers w/ RCE lowering front camber plates.

Totally worth the damn drive and headache it was to put them on in the middle of the night. I swear I'm moving to San Jose so I can get to all these deals faster

So parts wise...

Headers
Catless

That's it for performance right?

I really need to find a decent catted down pipe so I can smog without having to move parts around. Should be able to smog with one cat. Either that or find one of those perrin set ups with 2 cats.

Yeah dude they're amazing coilovers. Ride feels smoother than stock while handles way better than my RCE springs.

I just hate that they're inverted struts so all the adjustments are bellow the car.

STI intercoolers are so much easier to take on and off than wrx ones, I was cussing out my car while trying to get the y pipe back on the turbo.

It's all dirty and not tuned and I yelled at it... Guess I better buy it something to smooth out our relationship lol
