My lug nuts just arrived, hope I will have time to put them on before Sunday. Not doing it in the rain, and I'm going to be gone most of the day tomorrow... I guess sunday morning before the meet will have to do.

 

You can do that isht in the parking lot. I'll have my daughter and my dog most of the day but I might try to meet you guys on one end or the other.

Any of you guys have a fender roller. I just need to roll that little lip on the rear fenders a little. Barely rubbing. Damn 235/45's! I was hoping I'd be able to run 245's before I had to roll em.

 

Remember to put a plastic bag over the lugs so you don't accidentally scratch them!

marina/salas/Monterey crew meet at the marina Wal mart at 10 so we can mob to Watson together.

 

If we do Mnt Madonna, I figure we take Watsonville Rd. North to Uvas. We can go to the parking lot @ the Uvas Res. then split from there? I personally live in San Jose, so i'd just be heading home from there. It's a fun lil drive, w/ a parking lot at the end to pose in.

 

I saw that on google maps but wasn't sure about road quality. Some of the guys are on coils and I didn't want to take them down a bad road.

 

So what are your meet points and times tomorrow?

 

I've ridden that road numerous times on a street bike. If they can make it over Mnt Madonna, they can surely make it to Uvas res.

<sarcasm> ps. I rofl'd when you said people can't take their AWD cars on a easy road because of CO's :P Poor subarus. </sarcasm>

 

Reason for me not being able to do d&b is because I'm on pain meds still...I still have pins in my bone that are sticking out of my thumb... So pain meds are a MUST for me. This means no driving or drinking. The meets aren't fun if your not driving your car and worse no drinking ); ...... I'll meet you guys at the Watsonville Target and chop it up with all y'all ... Take pics and what not.. Drive safe guys if it rains!

 

It's not that they can't make it, just trying to avoid super potholed roads. I think the Uvas Reservoir will be a good ending/re-grouping point. So here is the Revised plan with lax time schedule.

Meeting point 1(for Monterey/Salinas/Marina guys)
10am at Marina Wal-Mart(150 Beach Rd, Marina, CA), Leaving at 10:30

Meeting Point 2(the real meeting point for everyone)
11am at Target in Watsonville(1415 Main Street, Watsonville, CA) we'll be leaving from here at 12 so it gives people time to B.S. take pics.

Ending point(if not going to D&B)
1:00pm at Uvas Reservoir( we will skip the mt.madonna inn pics)
we will leave for D&B around 2pm.
