Tire wear is negligible with camber settings. Toe kills tires, not camber.

 

Camber just effects where the wear is going to be located.

 

Stock specs are -1.3 rear and like -.3 front. Watsonville Firestone set mine. Just have to get creative.

 

watsonville firestone sucks ***....Santa Cruz is where i go...Nothing but little Honda racers work there..they just look at your motor and ask the stupidest questions.."does it have a turbo?"....."What mods do you have?" "i drive **** and so and so mods" ......

 

Yeah. What I like about the watsonville one is I can trick them in to doing whatever alignment I want.

I just ask them to check it and let me know what the numbers are. Once they come back I ask them to even them out as close to the numbers I want and they do it. LOL. Last two times I've gotten -1.8 and -.07. Before that I had it at -1.5 and -.09 I think.

Never gone to the SC one. The one over off Mowry in fremont will do custom specs.

im not a huge fan so far of mw3.. bunch of spray and pray.. justin, jody, myself and a buddy played last night and some matches were just ridiculous.. im still holding hope though and giving it time..

Hell I once had my sexuality questions by a girl because I was driving a wagon with gold wheels. Early days wagons where not cool.

My wife hates the gold wheels too. Most of my car club guys give me **** for driving an import and having it "tuned.".

I think your specs are retarded. I think running super wide wheels that force you to run really small tires and stupid camber settings that hurt performance is stupid. (not saying you're doing any of that) Just my opinion on that particular situation.

If I remember correctly you're talking about going wide body and running fat meats... that I like. I'll tell you what I like and don't like. That's how I am. Can't take it... don't read it.

I've met most of you guys and I'd have to say that I got along well with all of you and from what I could tell you guys didn't mind me too much.

Me and Brucelee have gotten in to all sorts of **** online and disagree on a lot of stuff but we get along great in person and probably consider one another friends...

im not running "small" tires.. 255's and yes the setup is dumb but it was what happened when i took it to the wrong shop.. another long story.. personally i could care less what anyone else thinks about my car as its just a car.. i think it looks terrible right now but it gets me where i need it to so thats all that matters.. the whole thing is a process and experiment so its not an exact science.. at least its not to me.. im learing a lot of things along the way and in the end its something i enjoy doing, otherwise i wouldn't do it..

 

That's how it should be. And that's why I said I didn't think you were doing those things. We had that discussion already.

My car has been an ever evolving experiment. LOL. I got most of my ricey **** out of the way on my civic. By the time I was done with that thing it was all about speed and handling.

My car has had 4 or 5 different suspensions on it and several different wheel set ups. In the early days not to many people knew what they were doing with suspension on wagons and there wasn't much available so a few of us experimented. LOL.

I'm glad you're aware that those settings are no good.

I seem to remember you were talking about trying to run some super huge wheels, fender flares and what sounded like 275's probably. That I would love to see.... and drive. So much tire.

No one is gonna love everything you do to your car. We're all different. That's what is so rad about cars. You want looks. Go looks. You want handling go handling. You want power go power. Hell people have tried to talk me in to doing some crazy stuff with my caddy. I do what I want.

 

yea the plan is flares for the time being and 295's or 315's ... the suspension is going to have to come a long way as well.. but i have to get it under the knife before i do any real suspension stuff so eh... kinda bumed i almost had someone trade me the flares i wanted for my navi system..

 

The biggest problem with mw3 is the ****ing maps they're terrible
