If things don't pan out Mike you can cruise to my house in the AM and drive up with me.

I have an apointment tomorrow morning to have a brake job, so that should be taken care of, but...

My tires are haggard. Not at the wear-bars, but close, and they were "off road" tires to boot... What do you think? Am I crazy to try to make it on these?

I'm searching for some alternatives that are within my budget, but I'm running out of time.

I'm looking forward to seeing you and Pete again, if I manage to make it...
If I don't, then I hope you all have an awsome time.

Well I have been feeling almost good the last few days, so I say there is a 99% possibility that I will be coming.

Feeling good enough in fact that I will be hitting Kings Ridge Rd today. Very fun!

The Navigational Unit is not available. Has an obligation as a theatre set servo at his place of informational input and socialization (ie tech crew for High School Play).

Thus I will not have anyone to play Nintendo or read books while I'm driving. Not sure how I'm going to cope. But it does mean I'm not going skiing.

Meanwhile, the house maintenance police have informed me that carpet cleaning is my prime directive Gotta escape from that somehow. Threats of rain would be a good excuse except I wanted to install new spark plugs, pcv valve, fuel filter, cabin filter, and Trunk Monkey hammock along with some car oriented spit and polish on Saturday. Gonna get squeezed I can tell.

So bottom line I'm still hoping to tag along. Probably more likely to show if rain threatens.

Which model Trunk Monkey hammock did you pick up? I've been debating which one to get.

alright.
1. noal, i happy to hear that you are feeling good

2. tim, i'm crossing my figures on you making it.

3. mike, you should see my tires i hope it doesn't rain at least they are PS2's

4. as far as the line up goes. we will drive to the Alexander Valley area at the speeds we will be using. once we get there we will see how everyone feels about thoses speed and make the groups. Of course each group leader will be VERY FAST and the others will go according to road knowledge and experience. On the way up there the groups will probably be just who makes it though the light at the on-ramp.

I got the OEM WRX wagon one. I only got it because the Subaruparts.com site misled me into buying a single spark plug and I had to buy something else to maximise the value of the shipping costs when ordering the additional 3 plugs. The ship's purser nixed the ski rack on the basis that I "have a very nice cargo box that will probably work just fine and I don't need every acccessory for my little car" etc. etc. She fell for the "cargo net." Of course now I will have to find a Trunk Monkey....little does she know.
