Me and the S/O should be there rain or shine, possibly with both my WRX and Z (depending on rain). Friend with Porsche is lame and said he's not going.

well it seems people are dropping left and right, but that's normal. I say the group is already big enough as it is so a few less people and i'm not going to be sad. Although i did want eric (miami) to come out on at least one of my drives

I'm really hoping to join you. There are two problems...
I can't stop, and I'm not sticky.
I have an apointment tomorrow morning to have a brake job, so that should be taken care of, but...
My tires are haggard. Not at the wear-bars, but close, and they were "off road" tires to boot... What do you think? Am I crazy to try to make it on these?
I'm searching for some alternatives that are within my budget, but I'm running out of time.
I'm looking forward to seeing you and Pete again, if I manage to make it...
If I don't, then I hope you all have an awsome time.
