damn Rich... I never took you for the type who'd spend that much time cleaning his car! Mine is still dirty as hell but I deffinately need to do some cleanup. There's dirt everywhere. I also got a chance to put the car on a lift today. Got a couple really nice dents/scratches in my skid plate and a really impressive dent in the catback pipe! All well worth it

Dang. In addition to what sounds like an UP leak and some squeaky brakes that started right after the drive, I found that both of my side skirts have gouges that carved some plastic out of the bottom, right in the center. I must have high centered at some point. I can't believe how much dirt came out of my rear wheels! My driveway got covered.

My paint heald up pretty well though. I'm surprised.

Can you honestly blame me for suggesting people look things up for themselves?

Call this number next time you want the RIGHT part number the first time. I'm certain that if either myself or Tony (the manager) answer, you'll get the right part.

Sometimes it helps when you have enthusiasts who love playing with Subarus as much as working with them...just look at most of the aftermarket shops around here. When they're not working on Subarus, they're playing with them...and that's why we pay attention to the little details...because it's not simply a job, it's a passion.

Sorry to see you had problems with your local dealer...

...and BTW, I know that some of the part numbers for the "self service" websites are inaccurate.

Just to let you know...

I don't claim to be perfect, or get everything right 100% of the time, but I try my hardest. Try picking out the right part with merely a description given over the phone...sometimes it's more difficult that you might think.

Those pics are really cool, BTW...and included everyone I'm sure that Denise would like to have some for her collection.

Hi Rich,
Sorry I missed it. Haven't really been paying attention here recently. Just back from a 2200 mile trip to Utah last weekend so driving wouldn't have been my first choice activity this weekend but those are fun roads.

Oh, and for those interested in all the pictures that ended up on my camera, I have them all zipped up. It's 129MB, so by no means is it a small archive, but it's available upon request.

hey Tim
would loved to have had you out there with us.

maybe you'll make the next one.
i'm planning an "camp out over night" drive up in Covelo area (that's off route 162). an area that has 100's of miles of dirt. i'm trying to get together with pete and making it some kind of rally.

oh, i realized as i was washing the car that my back doors on both sides have about 5000 new little chips in the paint from going sideways around so many corners.

If there's no easier way, could you resize them so they zip up to under 10MB and email to veryverywrong@gmail.com?

To batch shrink pics, I use imageresizer.exe from here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

Well, I'd love to run the Alcan rally, so I could be in a polar region, but the trip to Antarctica would be too much trouble, and make me crazy or something...lol
