To batch shrink pics, I use imageresizer.exe from here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx
I run Linux, not Windows. I'll be PM'ing those who ask for the ZIP the url (Rich). Right now I'm uploading to my server, and that will take about 35 minutes.

Get a Mac.

Firewire your camera to the computer, click the iMovie application, and have full camera control if you're going to edit. If not, you click iDVD, and burn it directly to DVD.

I'll PM you a link to a movie I did in about 20 minutes with iMovie.

sadly i can't find a way to load the movie to the host provided to me by Jeff. He's a PC guy and i'm a Mac guy. I've tried everyway i could think of. and unless someone has any bright ideas on what i'm 'not' doing or a mac friendly host the videos will not be posted.

Once everything is done and the videos are totally finished. not just the quick stuff i planned on posting here, i can burn them to DVD and give them out at the next dirt drive.

The DVD quality of picture and sound would be so much better anyhow.

Hey Rich,
I am a learning mac guy(had a g4 ibook since September, now have a macbook) and a long time PC/linux guy.

What hosting information did Jeff give to you? Did it involve using FTP? If so, download cyberduck from here:
http://wsidecar.apple.com/cgi-bin/np...duck-2.5.5.dmg

or go to the apple apps link:
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macos...cyberduck.html

I want to see these videos damn it!
PM me your phone number and I can even walk you through some of it if needed.

..Matt

Matt, I gave Rich some FTP information. I've tested the account and verified that it can be uploaded to. It's one of times I wish I could see what he's seeing.

Rich, if all else fails, you could email the video to me *cringe* and I'll upload it.

Matt
Jeff

my phone number is
415.488.4305

cause i don't even know what FTP stands for. Like i've said time after time. "i am not a computer guy." i don't know crap. i spend most of my time on line looking up pictures of chicks with over sized breast.

I've never known how to post pix, vids, etc. I'm just lazy trying to figure out how to do stuff i don't know.

call me.
