They help if you get lost in the wrong area, people will help you as opposed to steal your wheels

Keep in mind, if we have the meet / start in Santa Rosa, then continue into Marin County, we could have a meetup point near Sausalito or something, where it's just a hop across the peninsula for south/north bayers...

And for those that think it's far, we had somebody drive three miles and get a ticket along the way to get to our last meet!!!

Night guys,

put me on the list.

here is my suggestion:

1-meet at flying goat in healdsburg
2-drive out dry creek road to skaggs springs road
3-follow skaggs springs to hwy 1
4-drive up hwy 1 to gualala
5-stop in gualala and have a bbq or eat and hang out for a bit
6-drive up hwy 1 to point arena
7-from point arena take hwy 128 to boonville
8-once hwy 128 hits 101 drive down freeway to healdsburg
9-drink beer and eat to end a fun day

top reasons to go with that route:

1-very few intersections... mainly long roads (skaggs,hwy1,hwy128) meaning very little confusion and less people getting lost
2-it will have fun fun fun backroads and also ocean side roads

maps:
first half:

second half:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...62427&t=h&om=1

about 4 hours total driving

I like Skags as well and what about doing a BBQ once we get to the ocean?
Oh by the way Im in no matter what happens.
and should we do a poll for skaggs vs. mt. tam.
Skaggs will have less traffic but Mt. Tam will have better photo opps. both are good but it really depends on what your coming out for.

Smile Me, too!

Sign me up please!

As for the route; as long as it’s out towards the coast I will be happy. There are so many possibilities west of Santa Rosa; Bodega Hwy - Bohemian Hwy – Coleman Valley Rd. - Hwy 1- Skaggs Springs Rd.

From Healdsburg: Westside Rd. - Sweetwater Springs Rd. – Hwy. 116 - Cazadero Hwy. – Kings Ridge Rd. – Hwy. 1.

The best roads around this area are still Kings Ridge Rd. & Skaggs Springs; but Coleman Valley & Sweetwater, are in my top 5.
