We are in Santa Barbara but seriously the crowd makes me sick. I think I will pass this year's fireworks. There are thousands of people already packed on the beach, and it's only 6 PM. Sriving down to Catalina Island tomorrow. By the way, you guys are gonna laugh: I caught freaking blisters on my fingers driving! I drove on the curvy highway 1 for so long last night in the fog, like a nut, avoiding bears, skunks, deers and people crossing the road for 89 miles! it actually had a sign curvy road: 89 miles!!!!

Yesterday me and my gf went to the sf zoo. On my venture to the city we took the long way and hit up fairfax/Balinese road. It was one of the roads I was showing Ben and Chris at the meet last weekend. I highly recommended it for a drive for all of us to do.
Actually it's Bolinas-Fairfax Rd. It's a fun drive, but also a favorite of local cyclists.
For me, Scaggs Springs-Stewarts Point Rd is the best bang for the buck. I've driven it twice in the last two months. The best IMHO.
