A couple pages back there was mention of spare turbos for sale, friend of mine just blew his and needs a replacement. Going in a forester, so looking for a VF39 or TD04... or anything else that'll fit in that size. PM me if you have one you're looking to get rid of!

 

Idk what his budget is, but there was a brand new vf52 in the classifieds. otherwise, Rich has a vf39.

 

Yeah I saw that, definitely not the VF52. VF39 or TD04 would be ideal, looking for something on the cheaper side.

 

Yes, that good. That is assuming we're talking about LinkECU, Cosworth ECPro, or MoTeC. Crappy stand-alone is still crappy engine management. Going from basic engine management like a Cobb AP or ECUtek, etc., is like night and day as far as features and driveability. That's why I am doing a G4+ on my Evo, and then another G4+ on my AE86. Once I drove my STI with a stand-alone, I didn't want to go back to driving my cars on tunes limited by stock ECU hardware.

 

So me and vodka are going to a meet tonite at target in santa rosa. I texted Paul but haven't heard back yet. There are a few other subies that show up but it'd be cool to actually meet some of you. Just so you're aware though.....there are people that do burnouts and stuff like that but the cops haven't really done anything about it since i've been going to these meets. Regardless, we try to park away from that crowd.

In my experience, that meet usually runs until someone does something stupid and the cops show up.
