don't see how that's "pestering" ...sounds like a good question to me. One that could have simply been answered with something like.....hmmm..how about this.

Yeah that would be fine. Contact me after the rally as I am very busy right now.
Or, I'd rather not. But here is a place you can start. *something constructive..not pick up a map. That's like when you ask your parents what a word means and they tell you to pick up a dictionary.

pester is such a negative word.

Oh....keep us posted on the next one as I missed this one. I've been busy moving. Shoot drop me a pm next time you start to set one up. I'd love to tag along or do some labor if need be. Just to be outside. I'll thow my bike on the rack and tag along.

sounds like it went very well. Love to see some photos.

Do you put in areas where you can get your foot into it? As I know it's a time deal.

Great pics The OBS launching is now my wallpapper

The Casts were brisk but safe. It is all about average speed so you could speed up for the corners and hang it out and slow down for the straights.

Sorry, but unless you have organized a National SCCA Road Rally you cannot possibly have a clue how busy I've been every waking hour of the last couple of months- this last weekend makes 3 National events the region has put on and I had to chair all 3.

Giving away any information pertaining to the route, route books, or checkpoint locations to anyone apart from law enforcement or event workers is strictly forbidden, so it was really nothing personal, its just in the context of asking that question at that time, that seemed to me at the time to be the appropriate reply.

The event went off pretty well, but it was short handed on a couple of items, had I had just a couple more of you guys come up to work it, it would have been an unqualified success.

So yeah, my getting those questions from people that aren't willing to get out and either enter, or volunteer to support the event, might get a less than diplomatic reply, but like I said, its nothing personal.

After seeing how busy Pete was every single time I saw him, I felt bad even asking any question I had. But I felt good just being there and helping where I could.

This event is deffinitely the high light of my summer, and will be out for any other even I can make it to, especially if Pete is organizing it.

You guys missed an awesome rally! Pete I am really looking forward to your next event, can't wait!

Awesome pics... I'm so jealous now! We would've loved to be there, but alas, Roo had to work...

His schedule is changing though, which will open up weekends in the future for events like this.

sounds reasonable. I just thought it could have been said a bit nicer...but who am I to talk I am the uber ***** these days.

Next time...drop me a line. I'm pretty crazy busy myself but I'm sure I can get out there and put some time in to help. Love to do it. Anything to get out in the sun in the dirt and nature...and maybe get my car sideways on the way home sounds good to me.

so keep me in mind next time. I'll do what I can.

I will let you know when I head up, I am planning on going up for a weekend to run the route. I am going to try and get 2 people per car, and radios with a max of like 3 cars since we will have to go about 1 minute appart from each other, and don't want to **** off the locals.

trust me, on these roads all you could see is dust from the car in front for at least 30-40 seconds. If you tried to pass, you would drive off the road or rear end someone. ;P
