The route is different every year, spending some time in Mendocino county was the rule until last year, which all took place in Humboldt.
As a participant you should be prepared to drive for several hours, and come equipped for "car camping" that night.

The weather is usually quite pleasant and since we typically end up camping somewhere on the coast, you get the natural Northern Californian coastal A/C

Since I no longer have a Subaru, if anybody needs or wants a navigatior/co-driver let me know. I was trying to hold off on selling the forester until after RRX, but there were too many interested parties.
