We are doing this drive no mater what. Everyone coming please bring a full size spare if you have one, a radio to talk to other cars, a full tank of gas and be there before 8am. We will be leaving at 8:15 sharp. if you are not there you'll be left behind. We'll be travelling north on 101 for 73.17 miles to exit Lake Mendocino Rd. and re-fueling at the Chevron station there.

Bring snacks to get yourself by. We will not be stopping anywhere for along time.

well just got off the phone with Pete (psoper) and he hopes that we have a trouble free drive. I asked him about my route and he said it should be in fine condition.

i'm struggling over the route after our stop in Elk Creek. I guess it depends on how the day is going.

Had a great time. You guys.... thanks for coming out and having a love for dirt and not being worried about beating the hell out of your car.

anyone have pics please post.

someone have a host i can us, i'd love to up-load some video. The fish-eye lens works wonders for maintaining the speed we were driving.

Ed that last stage we did on Walker Ridge rd was great. But boy did we talk abunch of ****. If i posted that i whould have to edit out all the sound and put music over it

Just got back, had dinner, and boy, I'm ready to hit the sack!

Thanks for the great day everyone. Excellent driving everyone. Challenging terrain today with the mud and leaves. The first stages were very different feeling from the rally last month.

My new anti-sway bar made a huge difference. Doesn't seem like much on the asphalt, but it's completely different on the dirt - nice and slidey.

Here are some quick pics, including one where Alex is getting his blood circulation going again.

Thanks Brian. Love the pics I'm sure there would have been plenty more if you had had a co-pilot with you. The shot on west mines is really nice. might even be my next desktop.

that mud hole / field was wicked. I just got done prying 1"-2" of clay like mud out of my wheel wells while washing the car.

Nice pictures!
Mud on the disks disbalanced wheels so badly that my hands were still shaking for a while once I got home ;-)
