Car Control Clinic Oct 8

The local chapter (golden gate chapter) of the BMW Car Club of America is putting on another car control clinic on Oct 8 at Marina Airport. The registration opens up on Aug 26 (I have had a habit of posting this after reg opens and the reg has been full--sorry).

Here is the link to get started:

Here is an overview of what the car control clinic is:

I believe that the rules are bmw's get first pref and then non bmws but there are always non bmws at these events. Just reg early! I think that you will have to become a member of the bmwcca to do this event (thus a cost on top of the event cost).

I am one of the volunteer instructors for these events. Please contact me if you have any questions!

I am going!!!!

You have to be a member of the club. It cost $40 a year. With the membership you can do the Car Control Clinics and the autocrosses and other stuff I haven't expierenced yet.

I went to the autocross on 8-20-06 and I was greatly impressed on how cool, nice and helpful all the guys were, and I don't even own a BMW. The event was very well organized and I learned a ton. Though it was my first time.

The next and last autocross for the year for the club is 9-9-06. If you plan on doing the Car Control Clinic you should sign up for the autocross first and come have some fun. The autocross events are $50 after you have a membership.
