watch your cars guys, i drive a integra so i dont know if Subarus have the same stolen problem as integra , i heard same morning they couldnt get mine they got someones jdm front integra, in east vallejo
sunday morning, my alarm pager starts beeping IT NEVER BEEPS the alarm is not sensitive at all so when it beeps IT MEANS SOMEONE is doing something, but in my heavy sleep i ignore it but of course it keeps ringing.
I go outside to find that they went thru the driver fender wheel well to pull cable(YES I KNOW i should of relocated this so i am now lol) and popped hood they pulled the battery cables off but theres a back up battery installed and the siren is hidden, they didnt even make it INSIDE the car, the doors were still locked
IT IS A MUST if you have a alarm GET IT STEALTH INSTALLED, every alarm install ive seen places THE SIREN on the firewall easy access for the thief to cut!!!, every alarm i see places the brain RIGHT above the driver kick panel(under steering wheel) right where the thief can cut the brain off, alarm installers use starter kills on MANUAL transmission vehicles a stealth alarm will incorporate a fuel cut/ecu cut or both , I REALLY WISH the thief tried harder and open my door SO HE CAN hear the siren inside blasting his ear drums off!!!!!!!
i just ordered this for another layer of security, the more layers the better, if they can make it past the alarm which is impossible w/o a tow truck good luck , have fun taking this off as well, easiest way would be to bust the wheel lock off and put spare on, but TIME IS A THIEF'S ENEMY
