..just make sure you are following someone who does know the road. Otherwise, drive at the speed limits. Icehouse Road in particular has some very surprising corners, and on the other side of those corners is your chance to act like a cartoon character, and see how far away from the cliff you can get before you look down and fall. I know that on the last drive we did, Lowball and myself had a couple of lucky near-misses- and we had already been on that road before.

And I was right behind you!

It's a good thing Lowball's exhaust was so damn loud. At least I knew when he wasn't accelerating. lol

Someone needs to scout Wentworth and make sure all the snow has melted if we decided there might be too much traffic on the Berryesa drive and take it off the list

We didn't have time to recon Wentworth.

Although the Knoxville drive has more votes, I'm thinking it is going to be way too crowded on Memorial Weekend. We may save this for sometime in June.

That leaves the ever popular Wentworth. I appreciate the thought of running it backwards, but I don't like that idea because it means we do the Salmon Falls Road section at the end of the ride when it is likely there will be way more people on it than if we had done it first thing. For me, I would rather do the boring US50 to Folsom route at the end of the day when we're tired anyway. But I'm willing to entertain other notions.

Also, if anyone has a suggestion for something other than Wentworth, post it up.

Pre drive meeting will take place at the Weekly Sacramento Saturday meet!

One + for backwards is that at least you get to drive on ice house road.
So someone needs to come up with a back up route if wentworth is still snowed in if we're doing the usual route.
