sleeper legacy lives!!!
well, i finally got the sleeper legacy project on the road. it took me 3 years, but so far its been well worth it.
heres the specs:
93 legacy L 2wd 5sp
paeco shortblock 2.2 n/a
11-1 cr ceramic coated pistons
ported and polished heads
torque cams
high speed valve springs
engine balanced and blueprinted
370cc jdm nissan injectors
255lph walbor fuel pump
safc-II
autometer a/f and egt gagues
kevlar clutch
flywheel lightened 7 lbs
sti motor mounts
custom 2wd sti tranny mount
16" 2.5gt alloys (9 double spoke silver)
turbo legacy spoiler and scoop
rear sway bar and brackets from another legacy
its running pretty well right now, but i need to resolve some fuel management issues at wot. (see my thread in engine management) im just pretty stoked that an engine that i built myself actually runs. (paeco assembled the shortblock, but i did the rest)
anyone else running a similar setup in a first generation legacy? i dont know if ive talked to anyone else who has done a 2.2 n/a engine build.
happy motoring,
josh mould

Hey Josh, I don't wanna harsh your high, but where are the pictures!?!
However, you should be proud about the motor build. WHere are the pistons from? How much $$ do you think you've spent?
Again, congrats!

Only since '97 have Subaru's been solely AWD. There are quite a few FWD Subaru's still rolling around. That's a loooong list of mods for a FWD Subaru. It'd still be cool to see some pics when you get a chance.
