putting a turbo engine in a 91 legacy?

If they have the engine, they might have the whole car.
To do it right, you'll need:
radiator
cross member
exhaust, complete
ecu
intake ducting
wiring harness(?)
and anything else I can't remember.

Also, stop by www.nasioc.com and read the FQA in the Conversions Forum. There is tons of info in that place.

Since your brothers car is OBD1 it will be easier. IRC there are only two wires that need to be added to the main harness, boost solenoid and something else.

You will need the turbo cross member, but you can use one from a WRX or STI. The fuel pump will need to be upgraded to the Turbo Legacy pump or an aftermarket unit. You might change the timing belt since the motor is going to be out.
