cold air intake?
I have '97 LGT and I am wondering what people think about putting on a cold air intake? Does it help or is it cosmetic. If it helps does anyone have suggestions on a brand(s) to check out? I have seen a lot of aftermarket sites selling Weapon R intakes, are these good? Thanks for any help you all have.

I think the 99 RS intake that Cobb sells should help out. One of the big problems with the MAF intakes is damaging the sensor, something that they designed it for. It is expensive ($299), but it'll sound very good, give nice gains and keep your MAF alive.
