just wondering

whats up guys.... i was wondering if anyone as the new legacys with the 2.5 trubo model. and if so how do like it compared to the wrx, if it applies. i was thinking about getting one, but would like to know what everyone thinks about it.

I like it more then the WRX. And even though it has less power then the STi, I like it more then the STi as well.

There are some drawbacks when compared to the sportiness of the WRX. The suspension in the LGT is really soft and floaty. I think that can be fixed pretty easily, and I will probably do so sometime this summer.

The size is a little bigger, which may be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what you want in a car. The LGT wagon has much more cargo room in it then the WRX wagon.

All in all, I really enjoy the car. There are a few things I'll be changing about it, but hey, I'd do that with any car.

yeah i heard that it is basicaly an sti motor , just detuned. so everything for the sti will fit? my wife i were taking and we really like our wrx but with the talk of kids, we would like something bigger. but still able to make it preform more like a wrx/sti

Not everything is the same as the STi motor. The turbo, intercooler and intake manifold are all different, so those parts are not direct bolt ons (unless you want to replace all three of those parts)

As far as the rest of the motor goes, yes it is pretty much an STi motor with detuned ECU programming.
