97 Legacy 2.2L Oil Filter

Does anyone know if the 97 Legacy 2.2L can use 02-04 WRX oil filters? I already have a bunch of those and would rather not have to buy another type of filter.

Can someone at least point me to the correct PN for the filter for the 2.2L? My Legacy is almost due for a change.

just call auto zone and ask them to check the part number for a filter for both cars. If they are the same then it should fit....
