Performance Mods for 06 Subaru Legacy 2.5i

Ok I am definitely a newbie to the Subary world but I love the car and how it handles. I do wish for a little more horsepower out of the 06 Subary Legacy Wagen 2.5i but I definitely did not need the GT's power. What is the lowest cost (~$1K) way to get say 10-15 more horsepower out the 2.5i without voiding warranty? I have read some of the other threads about how I shoulda got the GT but I really did not need all that power.

Don't know that much about Legacy's but I've heard taking the pulley off of the GT will give a better responsive throttle and power transfer. Not 100% sure if it's a direct fit tho. And then theirs exhaust and intake.......

As much as I love I-Club, Legacy GT forums might be your best bet.

The 05-06 Legacy and Impreza models have had significant changes from the previous models, mostly due to drive-by-wire. LegacyGT.com may be able to supply you with some information about intakes and headers for your car, but don't be surprised if the performance mods for a non-turbo are few and far between.
