Should I?

So I'm new to this forum and subaru and was planning on buying a 2002 Subaru Legacy GT Ltd but have a couple questions.First off I am used to driving Honda where I can beat the **** out of my car constantly and with regular maintanance my 220,000 mile car can take whatever I throw at it.Is this the case with the Legacy or are they problem cars? The one im looking at had 87,000 miles,do the Legacys start goin downhill at a certain mileage? Also,I'm used to goin on Ebay and pullin up tons of **** for most cars but I can find barely anything for the Legacy,so any help for the 2002 gen would be awesome.I think they're beautiful cars but I also need something dependable. One more thing what are the JDM model codes for each year?

The only knock against the Leg is Headgasket problems. I have had my '00 for 6 years and 111k without problems. It is a very reliable car. I love mine. I spent 3 years in Syracuse with it and you can't beat the traction and fun. You will hate yourself for dealing with torque steer after you get into it.

You will find more information in the Legacy forum on www.nasioc.com. No need to ask the same question there, search for "BE" and "BH". Just read and you will learn.
