Just thought I'd introduce myself, live in VA. Played with Honda's all through High School but after wrecking 3 ran out of money and found a really good deal on the 92 celica i drive now. Anyway I've finally paid off all my debts and I'm starting my search for a 96-99 LGT 5 speed. My mom has owned a 99 limited for about 5 years now and i just fell in love with the car so I'm looking at getting my own now. I really want a WRX wagon but with 4 points off my license and 3 years of college left it's not very feasible. Anyway i was just wondering if there were any certain problems i should look for, or anything like that. My mom's has 155,000 on it and doesn't burn a drop of oil, the cam seals leak a little but that's an easy fix when I get the time. I know the 2.5 switched from DOHC to SOHC at some point, i was thinking it was 99 but my mom's is DOHC, I don't know whether it's a late 98 model or what but it's the 30th anniversery limited GT and when i changed the timing belt it was DOHC.

Oh yeah one more thing, are all subbie's california emissions because hers is but as far as I know it's always been a VA car.
