I'm looking to get started on some mods for my 01 Impreza RS...Any suggestions on what to do first? Or i'll take what you think is the best cold air intake to start?
Thanks

I think Cobb is the best but there are other alternatives, since Cobbs is a bit pricey. I have the intake and cat-back on my '01 and LOVE them. The intake gets to be kinda loud under WOT.

The Other Thing
THe other thing i'm worried about is finding a shop worthy enough to put their hands on my scooby...unfortunately between work and play I rarely have time to do the installs myself, so it makes my situation a little more difficult...

Ganzflow has a good cold air intake. Although Intake doesn't really do to much. Basically just plop a high flow filter anhd you'll be alright. I have had 4 different types of intakes. 1 from ebay 1 from cobb, and 1 that I designed and had my friend weld and another one that was basically a high flow cone filter. they all are about the same. If i could do it all over again, I would put my my money into a nice HKS filter and just slap it on. That'll be just fine. Plus HKS's are really good, easy to clean.
