Is this a good deal on an 05 GT Limited?
I just got back from the dealer. $28,500 was the best OTD price they could give me. They also said MSRP on it was $30,xxx. I believe the MSRP after some reading, but I think they can do way better than 28,500.
I read about a couple people getting for around 26k. I dont think they will even come close to that low.
I am heading to another dealership tomorrow to see what they can give me for a price.

Don't be afraid to get up and walk out on the dealership if you think you can get a better deal. If the price you asked for is not totally unreasonable then they may even call you back to try and sell you the car. Also don't be afraid to tell the next dealer or dealers that you are shopping around and that you already have a price that one dealer will sell for, they will probably try and beat it. Also I checked the invoice on the NADA website and it is about 27,000 so I say start at 26,500 or so and then let them counter. But don't forget you can't be afraid to get up and leave otherwise they know that they have you. Good luck and let us know what happens
I think its a good deal....but if you think you can do better, then go for it.
Thats about what I got offered when looking into an 05 gt limited...but remember that these cars aren't really selling like hot cakes. Most new generation cars sell above MSRP, and the fact that they're selling at or below should show this. Subaru wants to move these cars, so you should be able to get the car for a reasonable price at or below MSRP.

I think that's a great price. Others are probably getting 26k + taxes. You're getting an OTD price of $28500. (I'm assuming OTD means car+taxes+licencing = no other cost)

My OTD price includes title $25, fees $189, and taxes $0. I am in NH, so no tax. They called me back but I told them I wasnt so sure anymore, I wanted to see other cars. I am supposed to head to another dealer today, so we will see how that goes. I didnt make it the other day.
