KYB GR2 struts and maybe even new top mounts. Make sure you do all four at the same time though, to keep everything fresh, you won't regret it. As for axles, just getting a well done rebuild is important. I've done struts myself, but not attempted an axle or tie rod replacement. I'd suggest either the Haynes or Chilton manual for details.

I have checked on the Gr-2's and have heard that stock wrx springs on these would make a big diff, any ony know about this? I would like to up grade anything I can as I do this, any ideas on bushings? what is avalible for this car? Can I swap oem wrx parts? Im cool with doing the work but there is always a trick or two to help make things go along easyer, I have the haynes for this thing so everything is cool.
