Drove the Legacy GT

I drove a friend of mine's 2005 Blue Legacy GT Turbo Sedan. She got everything on it with the exception of the nav system. If Xenon lights are available, she didn't get those either. It is beautiful to behold, with the deep dark blue and the off white leather interior. The car is very refined inside for both fit and finish, as well as the ride. NVH is also remarkably low.
She got the automatic, which to my surprise, was a 5spd manumatic. I didn't know they had a 5spd auto now. I didn't exercise the manumatic much at all, but the D setting was fine. There is only150 miles on it, so I couldn't get too frisky. Maybe sometime down the road. All the little extras are nice too, such as the vanity mirror lights, the sunroof, the heated mirrors, the heated seats, the heated wipers (yes, heated wipers), along with multiple cup holders and power outlets. I still think this car, and every other one like it could use back seats that fold down. I don't really understand why manufacturers don't bother to design that in.
The car is quite impressive, and the antithesis of my 2002 WRX. Still a Suby, though.

one additional comment...
One thing I'd like to add. We made a couple of stops for errands using her car, and when I didn't put my seatbelt on for the 1/2 mile trip to the next store, the seat belt chime never stopped going off. I looked in the manual later, and indeed, the seat belt warning chime will go off (with little 5 or 10 second breaks) ad infinitum. There is no obvious way to switch it off. It will even do this for the passenger seat, it seems.
