Coupe Legacy?

Coupe Legacy?
I have not seen any coupe's from Subaru since the RS2.5. Do you think there will be a coupe version possibly of the new Legacy. I have seen the photochops but is there a chance that Subaru will actually build one. Also why not a coupe version of the WRX?

I think a Impreza coupe will show up before a Legacy coupe. There is just much more demand for an Impreza coupe then a Legacy coupe.

Still, though, a Legacy coupe would be pretty sweet. Don't know if I'd buy it over a Legacy sedan, but it would be worth a look.

Yeah, but they look like steaming piles of feces. I don't think there will ever be a Legacy coupe. If anything, Subaru would develop a car independently similar to the SVX. We all know how well that car sold though

I hope the B9 makes it to production ..... a bit more toned down (styling) tho....

could use the STi engine in it instead of this hybrid business, but ~275hp ain't bad.

True, but at the time the SVX was out, subaru had not established a strong performance following here in the states. Also, when it was available, it was too expensive, to wildly designed and generally too far ahead of its time. There wasnt really a market for it at the time, and certainly not from subaru. I think now if they released a high end sports car it would be taken a little more seriously. And their current design department rocks, so i bet it would be awesome looking!

I realize there are many differences in the markets then and now, but the only thing people recognize Subaru for right now in the U.S. is the WRX and the Outback. This will all change when the new Legacy hits these shores, so we'll see.
