Clutch recommendations for street use?

Car Info: 1998 Legacy/Outback
I'm the proud owner of a '98 legacy/outback wagon whose clutch seems to be at the end of its life (65k miles). I'm considering aftermarket options as well as OE, and I'd love to hear recommendations for a good streetworthy replacement. My trusted mechanic would be using a replacement by Daken, on which I haven't been able to find much information. I've seen reviews of the ACT (no mention of street vs 4/6 puck), as well as the exedy that I think is only slightly different from the OE unit.
Can anyone share their experiences with these or other aftermarket clutches for normal driving? I've never liked the feel of my stock clutch, but I don't want something so tight that it will be hard on my knee (or awful to drive in traffic). I do like the feel of an OE 2004 legacy clutch better than I like mine. I drive moderately hard, and generally double-clutch my downshifts, so I would like something with a tighter engagement zone than my current clutch.
Sorry for the long post, but searching didn't yield much information for me. Thanks for any help you can offer!

I'm using an ACT from Cobb on mine, matched with an Exedy lighweight flywheel. It's pretty good, but I do wish I'd gone a little more heavy duty, for those times when I really want to take off from a stop and not get clutch smells
I'd recommend an Exedy clutch if you plan on keeping the stock flywheel. Exedy does make the stock clutches for Subaru.
