I am seriously considering getting an aftermarket alarm for my 05GT. I share the same question...whats the best out there?

 

Hello i used to work at a car stereo store and we sold viper car alarms and they do make a responder alarm witch is the ones with the lcd. i have nothing but good things to say about them they always worked for us and if you do have a problem they have great tech support and a great warranty dept. as well. The only thing i did not like about the remote on any lcd is the size putting that in my pocket sucked. It is a great alarm with alot of features that can be added. Clifford witch is owned by DEI with is the company that makes viper have there own lcd alarm but its pretty much the same thing as the viper. I would stick with a clifford or a viper for sure.
