Alex,

The trader rating for myself is VERY legit. You can even check up on i with the others i dealt with. I try to buy parts and sell other parts that aren't to my likng if they aren't what i expected. I do so in order to pay for the next part(s) i intend on getting. I know that Zoeb can be full of sheit but trust me 95% of his trasnsactions were legit....except for the one he mentioned. I have receipts for the parts he got off me still

I agree with you on this one though I belive the way alex is doing it is the best way. By putting a avatar post limit on for tech fourms only he is rewarding people for their insight and their answers to other peoples problems. Also by doing this he is rewarding the people who are most active on the board (though it is a little unfair in some peoples case with the regional fourms post count disabled espec. for people like IS2Scooby) and especally the people who help out the most in the tech fourms. I personally belive that the way it is now (avatars for (contributing members i.e. 555 posts and up) is the best way and how it should have always been. '

Enabling avatars for everyone is also a bad idea. Fourms with avatars everywhere are always VERY cluttered and much harder to look at. By limiting the size and the amount of avatars you are keeping the site looking much more clean and also more professional.

Also, I belive taking avatars away totally is also a bad idea. By doing that you are not rewarding the people who are most active on the board and not giving people incentive to act on the club as a community as a whole. Yes post whoring would be pretty much eliminated but how it is now it is too.
Cheers
-Jeff

meets...and help with decisions on exhausts, many times people meet up just for an hour or two to discuss an exhaust that one of them has and the other is thinking of getting, you know to hear the sound, see it in person, stuff like that
