i've been getting mixed info on this. some say 2002 wrx seats will slide right onto my 96 legacy wagon. the parts/service at my local subaru dealer says no. anyone have a first hand experience transplanting these seats? i don't want to have to use an adapter.

 

Yes, it will fit..

I had tried to fit it into my car with no problem but the seating level will be too high, as least for a 5'10" like me.

unless you want to drive like a bus driver otherwise...hmm... you know what I mean....

 

thanks for the info. i might have to swap out the seats and try it out. hope it wasn't too labor intensive. was your head hitting the roof? or was it just a bad driving position?
