Car Info: 2001 Legacy L Sedan AWD
i did search after search, maybe i was typing in the wrong thing. Anyway, I am looking for an intake and came across this on ebay ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=38634 ) will this fit my 2001 legacy L even thou it says its for a an impreza? Im not to firmilare with how the engines in other models weather they differ or not.
Now im not looking for and kind of monsterious gain just a little better Trottle response. I was also wondering if there are any other hoods with scoops that would fit my car from other models or even the Sedan GT? and finally i am looking for OEM foglights that will fit in my fog light spots that are open. can someone out there please help me with this. i had the car for almost a year and im dying to mod it. I had a ford focus before this and had that thig doing low 13's till the automatic tranny gave out. I had a JacksonRacing Supercharger with a smaller pulley to bring the boost to 11. then the normal intake and 3" exhaust from header to tail pipe. So i kinda miss the power that thing had. I love the Subaru and would love it more it had just a little more pep. PLEASE HELP. THanks.

I'm sure the intake would fit and probably work...however, to tell you the thruth, save your money for something else. Save it for an engine swap or exhaust or something
As for OEM foglights, they come and go on ebay, or you could get the part number from your local dealer and search around on the plethora of subaru oem parts sites on the internet.
And finally, hoods. The Baja Turbo hood with hoodscoop fits our cars
Good luck.

The Ganzflow is pretty well thought of and affordable:

I have the Cobb CAI and i really like it. It's more expensive, and louder, but has the best power gain of any intake i've seen, overall:

You can get a Baja Turbo hood, like fibuz mentioned, or perhaps a fiberglass or carbon fiber hood from Erebuni. The JDM B4 hoods for the earlier years fit, and some are even aluminum.

I have been investigating mods for the last month and it appears that the Cobb is considered the best all around, the only deterent is the price.
I think there are probably 2 options for foglights, the originals like on my 2000 and then there are some that are different that may have started in 03. I'm having to replace 1 and it isn't cheap.

Cool
Thank you for all your replies. I think i might go old school and home depot it. the one that still uses the stock air box kinda seems pointless to me. and the one that is 269.00 seems to pricy for me. But i reallt apriciate all your help and suggestions. Thank again.
